A food delivery driver arriving at a Miami high-rise before dawn became the person Stefano Cremasco-Cicero asked to help with a 911 call, minutes before officers found his mother dead upstairs and arrested him. The 36-year-old restaurant manager is now charged with second-degree murder with a weapon, according to Miami-Dade court records reported by Local 10.

Miami police were sent to the Solitair Brickell Apartments at about 4:47 a.m. on Sept. 4 after a request for police assistance from the building. Officers encountered Cremasco-Cicero in the lobby, and Miami Fire Rescue later pronounced his mother dead inside his 47th-floor apartment. Her name and age had not been publicly released in the reporting available Sunday.
